Tom’s father, Kastor Simensen started plumbing in Eastern Montana in the early 1960’s. He first instilled the quality mentality. He would always say “If you don’t have the time to do it right the first time how are you going to find the time to come back the second time?” Handed down throughout the family was this needed profession. Tom moved to Kalispell in 1988, keeping the tradition going. He has handed these skills not only to his family, but to many others that were apprentices and now master plumbers in the Flathead Valley. Expanding on those skills, radiant heat was added in the early 1990’s. Marc Hardesty was one of those apprentices that has become a partner in the business. Marc also comes from a long line of plumbers, his grandfather, great grandfather and several uncles have also been plumbers. Furthermore, radiant cooling was added to the repertoire in 2016. These new and existing systems keep us going and also fueled the naming of the company that is now Simensen Plumbing & Radiant.
